The thought of a boudoir session can be so scary. When batting to women about their session. I get asked all different kinds of questions. I am here to help. This is a list of the 12 most frequently asked questions to give you some insight on preparing for a boudoir experience with me!
Do you share my images?
My number 1 priority is to make sure my clients are comfortable and feel safe, especially with a boudoir experience! This is a life changing experience, but that also makes it nerve wracking! You may be learning to love your body and you aren’t quite ready to share the images with the wold, or sometimes these are for a partner and not for anyone else! These are all great reasons for not sharing your photos, and it all depends on your personal preferences! Of course I would love to share your amazing photos from every session, I will only share images with your written consent!
Do I have to wear lingerie?
The short answer NO! It is so important to me that what you wear makes YOU feel comfortable and confident! The outfit ideas are ENDLESS! Whether it is a knit sweater or your birthday suit we will plan outfits that are perfect for you!
Do you have payment plans?
YES! We offer flexible payment plans that are curated to YOU! There is a booking fee to book your boudoir experience and from here we will set up your payment plan! We can schedule your experience a few months out to give you plenty of time to pay it off in small payments leading up to your session!
Is hair and makeup included?
Hair and makeup is included in all of our boudoir experiences! This is a day all about celebrating YOU, and it is so important for you to feel pampered! Well create a to complete look that will leave you feeling FABULOUS!
Do you photoshop my images?
I do edit your images for light, exposure, and color balance. I do NOT edit anything “out” that is permanent. It can be so damaging to have a boudoir experience, and then edit out parts of yourself that make you who you are! During my editing process I will do some slight skin smoothing, remove any bumps, bruises or acne.
Where should I buy outfits?
There are so many places to shop for outfits for your photoshoot and this depends on what you are getting and the style of your shoot! Here are a few of my favorite places to shop: Victoria’s Secret, Honey Bridgette, Adoreme, Torrid, Yandy, Thistle & Spire and So many more!! Let’s build a look that is perfect for you!
What type of print products do you offer?
I offer a variety of stunning products, including the timeless album and the elegant folio box! Crafted from gorgeous materials, the album is a client favorite for its classic, sophisticated style. There’s nothing quite like flipping through the album pages and seeing your boudoir images displayed so beautifully—it’s an empowering and timeless way to celebrate you!
Do you offer digitals?
All packages include some sort of print product, but there is also an A La Carte list that you can choose from as well! On this list there is an option to add on digital images! These digitals come in a locked online gallery for you to download and share!
I’m freaking out!! How can I calm my nerves!
Nerves are completely normal before a boudoir session—most of my clients feel this way at first! I would say it would be strange if you WEREN’t nervous! The best way to calm your nerves is to focus on the exciting reason you booked the session: to celebrate yourself or spark your relationship. Remember, I’m here to guide you every step of the way!
How Many outfits should I bring?
For your session we will get 4 different looks for your session! Bring more outfits and I will help you narrow your options down!
Should I get to my shoot early?
Always plan to arrive to your session 5-10 minutes early to ensure we can start on time and keep the process running smoothly!
Where is your studio located?
My studio is located in a historic building in the heart of Paw Paw MI.! This building offers a rustic, classy feel!
